Daydream Video: Brainstorm Blog

The overall concept for my story sees a hooded man walk his way away from Boulder and towards the Flatirons - in his head he is living in a kind of medieval fantasy world, and is trying to reach the top of the mountain. As the man travels, he comes across another hiker, who he promptly tries to rob, and subsequently kills with his "axe" (it's just his walking stick). He travels further and finds himself on a main road, covered in blood. A police car drives by and stops, with an officer getting out - his gun raised (in the man's head he sees the policeman as a city guard holding a crossbow). The man tosses some insults at the officer and dares him to even try to kill him. The man starts to run at the officer, and the crossbow bolt is released - the man dies with his hand outstretched to the top of the mountain.
